WOMEN OF EMMANUEL
Every first Tuesday of the month, the women Mary Ann Circle meet in our lounge at 9:30 AM for refreshments, fellowship and a Bible Study presented in the “Lutheran Woman Today” magazine. Now the magazine has a new name, “Gather”. When we meet on Tuesday, September 6th @ 9:30 a.m., we will be studying “Jesus of Nazareth” from the first chapter of Mark. The study is broadly covered so we rarely get through the study, but we read all of Scripture and then have lively discussions among circle members. All women of Emmanuel are welcome!!

We are grateful to Darlene Hansen, Sherril Slebodnick, Mary Beth Phillips, Kathy Martin and Diane Burris for sewing the bags, as well as to Marlene Barr, Kathy Martin and the ELCW treasury for the donation of supplies.
Each bag, intended for pre-schoolers in the area served by Ann Arbor Foster Care, contains pencils, crayons, scissors, ruler, eraser, glue stick and a folder of notebook paper. Thanks to all of you for your donations of time, talent and supplies, and especially to Diane Burris for overseeing this effort and for delivering the completed bags to the Foster Care office on Carpenter Road..
