Emmanuel Lutheran Church Women Picnic
Friday, July 9th
Emmanuel women and friends are invited to attend our annual picnic on Friday, July 9, at 12 noon. The pavilion at Pittsfield Senior Center has been reserved for us. Please bring a dish for the buffet table; tableware and beverages will be provided.

Living the Vision: May Friendship Day
Friday, May 7th
Emmanuel women and friends are invited to attend our local May Friendship Day celebration on Friday, May 7, 12 noon, at Emmanuel. The event begins with a salad buffet provided by member churches, and a brief program will follow. The Least Coin offerings will be gathered in, and our Ypsilanti CWU unit will honor Mary Anna Bradshaw, of First United Methodist Church, as our Valiant Woman for 2010. Chelsea Clark, of SOS, will present information on this agency which helps so many in our area. Carol Sutter, of First Baptist Church, and Juanita King-Batie, of Second Baptist Church, are co-chairpersons for the Day.
Donation for the luncheon is $7.00. Tickets are available from Barbara Miller, as well as at the door. Hope to see you there!
Mother-Children Dinner
Friday, May 21st
The Mother-Children Dinner will be held on Friday, May 21 at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are priced at $7 for adults, $3 for children 6-12, and no charge for ages 5 and under. Tickets must be purchased by May 16, and they will be sold in the narthex on Sunday May 9 and May 16. Joy Meadows has arranged for a performance by 16 girls from Gym America Gymnastics, led by Coach Kim Cunningham; Joy is also one of the coaches. Diane Burris and Tesha Harding are making plans for the evening and invite all mothers and children to this annual event.

Ladies' Day Out Luncheon
Friday, April 30th
Emmanuel women and friends are invited to attend our Ladies Day Out luncheon at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, April 30, at Applebee’s Restaurant, 3819 Carpenter Rd. You may order from the menu, and separate checks will be issued. A signup sheet will be available on the bulletin board for those who plan to attend. Hope to see you there!
