Bridgebuilders Action Report to be Given Sunday September 30th Earlier this summer we, the people of Emmanuel, started the Bridgebuilders Process to help guide us in this transitional time before calling a pastor. This has been a chance for us to take a fresh look at where we are and where we want to go based on what we value most about our community of faith. At the Learning Event, in early June, we got a chance to hear from each other through written surveys and through an open forum. Later a random selection of people were interviewed one-on-one and everyone was encouraged to complete written interviews. The Bridgebuilder team, led by Pastor Al Nelson, has taken time this summer to compile all the comments that we made and will be giving us an oral report on Sunday September 30th at 1 p.m., following a potluck lunch after the second service. This Action Report is designed to help make us aware of the strengths, weaknesses, goals and values of Emmanuel that have been brought forward during this process. It is an opportunity to improve our ministry, from which we can grow our community and ultimately begin the process for calling a new pastor.
