Please join the pastor in his office on Sundays during the 9:30 education hour for a different approach to Bible study. Introduced by the African delegation to the Lambeth Conference of the Anglican Church, this Bible study method is known as "Lambeth" and "African." The members who have joined the pastor in the last month have enjoyed gaining new perspectives and insights on one of next week's Bible passages and crafted prayers for one another based on what is shared during the session. The lesson is read three times, each time from a different translation. You do not have to prepare or bring anything to the study. Believe it or not, the pastor actually has multiple translations of the Bible in his office, but feel free to bring your favorite translation. This is a terrific Bible study method to learn, as it can be done in other places and easily taught to new groups. “My teaching is not mine, but His who sent me.” |
