Ypsilanti Health Initiative
Emmanuel Lutheran Church is pleased to host the Ypsilanti Health Initiative. The mission of YHI is to make healthy living more affordable and more accessible in Ypsilanti. At present the program is on summer hiatus, but plans to resume in the fall. Check this page or the YHI website for further updates on the fall 2010 sessions.
Program Goals:
- Bring the whole family together!
- Offset the high costs of healthy groceries
- Offer alternative to fatty and fast foods
- Increase physical activity and exercise levels
- Create a supportive network of people who are interested in their health and well-being

- Incentivized groceery shopping
