Greetings Children of God:
Death comes to embrace impotent lives
Tightening fear drains away each living.
Trembling, cowering we with empty stares.
Death shouts, “Victory, now have I won!”
A voice within whispers so softly, “Be still.”
Now torn curtains and revealing skies.
Life is fed with the One Giving Rising.
Hope awakens moves and suddenly dares.
It turns to life from the Only One.
ONE plunges all into wonder and a holy chill.
Welcome to Easter! Welcome to holy chills and jumping into the life-awakening water of the promises found in baptism. Death seeks to overwhelm us and claim us, but we are baptized.
Welcome to life! Welcome to reconciling lives and the hope poured over, into and on our lives. God would have us live and know we are loved, loving and lovable.
Christ is Risen! He is risen indeed! Alleluia!
