Angels
The word "angel" comes from the greek word aggelos (αγγελοσ) meaning "messenger". Like the bell, an engel communicates with God to the people.
Angels appear many times in the story of Jesus' birth. They appear to both Mary and Joseph, bringing the news that Mary would give birth to Jesus. Angels also appeared to the shepherds in the fields to announce Jesus' birth.
“Behold, a virgin shall conceive and bear a son and shall call his name Immanuel.”
Isaiah 7:14
